Down By My Sins

DOWN BY MY SINS is playing a limited number of New York City shows while they finish up their debut CD and head out to tour europe. They've been ripping it up to packed audiences of exuberant metal fans hungry to hear great new material. The energy of the crowd is infectious and at times breaks into a mosh pit during epic metal break downs! The band gives quite a climactic stage show, wowing the crowd with vocal crescendos or guitar pyro technic monster chops! Rocker Al and Sean Coguric are the founders of classic metal band "Down By My Sins". Since they were just young lads, they played their instruments endless hours only to grow into musical perfectionists. The duo met through an introduction in in an ale house in Manhattan's Hell's Kitchen. Kilroy Rockster then came into the fold and filled out the band with his operatic vocal tone. During the initial few months they practiced, wrote songs, even played many covers to give the early band some material to begin playing. After a few drummer changes, Lou Lamore became the permanent drummer with his amazing grooves and dynamic artistry. Some influences that permeated were Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Helloween, Queensryche, Metallica, Megadeth, & Testament to name a few. "Down By My Sins " has recorded it's first 2- song Demo and 1,000 CD's were released to fans on May 2, 2008. A second printing will be made soon. "Down By My Sins" is now in the recording studio working on 8 new tracks to finish the album that should push them through into stardom. The release and success of this album will prove that "Down By My Sins" is indeed one of the best metal bands in the world. A european tour will follow the release of the debut CD.
