Elegant jewelry by Michelle Zimmerman includes hard-to-find demure 14k gold-filled initial medallions and charms, beaded semi-precious stone necklaces, and lots and lots of wonderful vintage jewelry finds that won't hurt your wallet. Be warned, with prices starting at $5, if you see something you like, don't hesitate to buy it -- more than likely it will be gone when you return.

Owner and jewelry maker, Michelle Zimmerman, an L.A. transplant with a life-time passion for vintage began in the city with a pop-up shop, then bounced into her very own space on New York's LES, where she sells her line of 14k gold-filled jewelry alongside a varied selection of gently priced costume jewelry from the 1960s through the 1980s. Her personal designs include dainty monogram medallions, single initials, and hand-strung beaded necklaces incorporating Swarovski crystals, cultured pearls, and semi-precious stone beads.

The boutique's name, Delicate Raymond, came out of Zimmerman's love for making delicate jewelry, paired with her love for her grandfather, Raymond, a master lapidary artist who cut stones and cast precious metals throughout his career. Her appreciation for the past, and an eye for beauty is seen in her private collection, nestled in velvet behind the locked glass door of an antique keyed jewelry case: an exquisite array of 1920s and 1930s estate pieces she has compiled throughout the years.

Peruse a playful scatter of friendship rings, broaches, bracelets, bangle sets, earthy wooden and strung seed jewelry from the 1970's. Irresistible sweet monogram charms, vintage picture lockets and dramatic funky and chunky earrings from the 80s. Even sexy cocktail jewelry embellished with faux diamonds can be found.

Delicate Raymond is a stylist's dream when shopping for vintage jewelry with timeless pizzazz. Featuring such an affordable spread of gently-worn vintage dead-stock jewelry, you won't have to make a choice between that Bohemian glass necklace and those 1960's Boho clip-on earrings.
