Shopping at Min-k is like walking into the closet of "the girl who has everything". You will find lots of fun clothing and jewelry, from many independent imerging Korean designers here with affordable price tags. Owner and buyer, Minji Kim, has a great eye when it comes to fashion. As a former designer of women's wear she approaches buying with an artistic sensibility, pointing out, it's the colors and textures that make a piece new.
Much of the clothing inventory is purchased in small quantities — many are one-of-a-kind. Mostly feminine, edgy girly pieces in fun patterns, but you can also find solid basics. Fresh designs, floral prints with great color combinations. Discover the same quality and uniqueness as trendy up-scale boutiques, such as Opening Ceremony, without the big price tag. At Min-k, when it comes to fashion, it pays to have a healthy, trim and fit body; most Korean designers sew for the lean lady in mind; so you won't find the kind of "large" sizes here. Min-k makes fashion fun and affordable.
