Label New York's design inspiration is drawn from the symbolism found in the occult arts. The ancient mystics channeled the human spirit and illustrated their findings.
We blend these illustrations of the soul with the healing power of color in order to provide our highest self with a venue of self expression. |

Jeffrey Goldstein is the man behind the “Label”, a New York based t-shirt company started nearly five years ago. After selling ten experimental pieces in a local boutique, he went on to build his occult inspired t-shirt line, now featuring 80 symbols and six t-shirt styles.
Goldstein is an avid palm reader who is determined to spiritually awaken people through ancient symbols in his designs. From v-necks to tank tops, Goldstein provides a wide array of fittings and styles for his unique graphic tees.
No two New York Label t-shirts are exactly the same. Each shirt is hand dyed and silk screened by Goldstein himself, utilizing elements from belief systems such as Christian mysticism, Islam, Mayan beliefs, heraldry, ancient Egyptian ideals and Greek mythology.
“Symbols are more meaningful than words, we all think in symbols,” he says. His best selling shirt is the famous Indian Ohm symbol, representing the essence of all creation. His favorite and latest series in the collection, however, is “Sacred Geometry”.
“Geometry is the building block of the universe,” he says.
Central to Label New York’s other worldly style is the idea that every person is a microcosm in that they contain their own unique symbols as spiritual beings. The individual craftsmanship and thought process that goes into the creation of each New York Label shirt, ensures that each shirt will appropriately represent the uniqueness of the individual who is wearing it.
Goldstein creates Label New York using his exclusive dye process in his private studio in Hell’s Kitchen, New York City. He also contributes to the domestic economy by ensuring that all dyes and cotton used in production are made in the United States.
Label New York designs can be found locally in Chelsea at The Starting Line and at Parke & Ronen. For more information on Label New York designs and where they can be found, visit http://labelnewyork.com.
