Here shoppers seek eclectic fine design, not over-valued designer labels. Entrer Dover Street Market (DSMNY), the spectacular world of COMME des GARCONS’ where you are invited to experience seven floors of established luxury and burgeoning designer fashion.
Erected in 1892, this prestigious building (now landmarked) was originally built to house the ‘New York School of Applied Design for Women’. It now holds ‘DSMNY’ one of the few luxurious department stores in New York City. You’ll find a’ well-edited collection from high-brow’ boutique designers with imaginations that soar far beyond ‘High-Street’.
Lunch is served on the parlor floor at ‘Rose Bakery’.
