Thomas Sires puts the fun in functional with adorable clothing and a broad array of lifestyle merchandise. The boutique embraces many interests for a youthful demographic, featuring seasonal selections of women's and children's clothing, small purse accessories, home textiles and wonderful gift items. Presented within a playful interior with a touch of color, environmentally and community conscious products are inspired by carefree beach culture as well as Japanese and French esthetics.

This cheerful boutique arose from the imagination of co-owners Fiona Thomas and Alison Sires. Both women add their personal touch by handpicking items from smaller lesser known brands, as well as collaborating on clothing designs that are produced twice a year for fall/winter and spring/summer. The inventory is punctuated with seasonal additions of summer swimwear and cozy knit sweaters for women, infants and toddlers during colder months. Wholesaling their lines to a number of boutiques in Brooklyn and Japan, natural fiber clothing is manufactured in Peru by an independently operated, family-owned garment factory.

The women pride themselves on introducing chic product with a good-vibe, supporting worldly brands that bear small carbon footprints and create job opportunities in their communities. A few of the many globally conscious brands include Bluma Project, utilizing family operated craft businesses, and Proud Mary, with 'ethnic-modern' home and personal accessories from an international exploration of textiles. Put the finishing touch on your gift by choosing from a well edited selection of hand-made stationery, including the independent company Yellow Owl Workshop out of San Francisco, CA.

Open to emerging talent, cleverly displayed on the wall is pop costume jewelry in glowing neon colors from Brooklyn designer Assad Mounser. Haling from Australia is designer Ebony Fleur with her state-of-the-art digital 3D printed jewelry. Leather satchels and totes stenciled with witty French expressions and quips line the shelves and tables, alongside irresistible wallets and pouches to go inside. Specialty home items include invigorating scented candles, woven cotton towels and pillows. And for beauty there is Yu Be Japanese Skin Care line famously used by Junko Tabei, the first Japanese woman to climb Mt. Everest in 1975.

Thomas Sires takes a wholesome loving approach to business with an emphasis on quality and conscious living appealing to interests of fashion and beyond. There is no room for seriousness in this frolicsome boutique where every item evokes anew joy from within. Having a mixed offering of whimsically unique items allows there to be something for the young, and the young at heart--a must shop spot for heartfelt gifts as well as toys and playful items.
