The online brand debuted in 2008 with Lipstock's cream lip conditioner, a solution to dry lips, is made with natural grape seed and watermelon oils for lasting hydration, and marshmallow, used to treat burn victims, to sooth and heal skin. Its main ingredients of beeswax, avocado oil, and Shea butter are certified USDA organic, and natural antioxidants such as vitamin E, green tea, and pomegranate oil double as preservatives, giving the lip conditioner a shelf life of 2 to 4 years.

For a kiss of color Lipstock's Cream Translucent Color stays on lips up to 4 hours after application. Tinted with all-natural earth minerals such as mica, titanium dioxide, and iron oxide, each comes with a complete ingredient listing. Complimenting all skin tones, choose from a selection of 15 warm shimmering shades from rich plums to radiant golds. Lipstock’s '60s mod-inspired lip cases are made of lightweight plastic cleverly wrapped in a "candy-like" fashion with unbleached recycled paper.

Founder Olga Ferreira has been a lifelong fan of lipstick, ever since she watched her mother put it on to start her day. Having acquired skills through years of studying at Parsons, and working with cosmetic lines Tony & Tina, and Three Custom Color Specialists, Ferreira tests, mixes, molds, and formulates Lipstock herself. Though lipsticks are her main focus, Lipstock will soon be adding vegan-friendly lip-liners, blushes, and nail colors.
