Hailing from Australia, Bettina Liano brings us sleek and edgy designs with her internationally acclaimed jean collection. After becoming the first designer to produce and sell the skinny jean, Bettina Liano now has eight different styles and fits, including high waistlines, ankle hem lengths, denim leggings, curvy fit and the classic ACE fit. Each pair consists of soft lightweight Japanese cotton denim, and is so deliciously comfortable you will never want to take them off. But Liano's store is more versatile than the usual denim shop, she also designs silky blouses, innovatively shaped dresses, and surprising skirts, amounting to a full-fledged line of carefully made, elegant women's clothing. Meticulousness in tailoring and detail, and emphasis on the female figure makes Bettina Liano a leading designer, Down Under and downtown.

Step away from the commercially trendy and into Bettina Liano’s timeless wardrobe of classic fashion. Known for her quality cut butt lifting jeans, the Australian designer recently brought her down-under denim and sophisticated clothing line to North America, opening her first boutique in New York City. Featured in New York's Fashion Week, spring/summer 2012 collection, the boutique carries seasonal denim lines equipped with new colors, prints, and washes. With eight different styles of jeans and a 23-34 U.S. waist size, there’s a pair for nearly any body type, from curvy to skinny fit. For over 30 years Bettina has graced the industry with self-taught design skills and a goal to deliver simple but chic and feminine fashion. She has a versatile relaxed approach to classic high-fashion that can be worn for seasons to come.

It all started in 1984, when she wore a homemade Cinderella dress from a bed sheet that caught the attention of a retail store owner, approaching her to make more for their sale. Putting any earned money into creating a business, Bettina began to build her clothing empire, and in 1999 her boutique became the very first to introduce the skinny jean. With “the skinny” and her super soft and supple comfy light weight "indigo blue denim," made from Japanese cotton being a signature staple, the boutique also carries a variety of jean fabrics and styles such as the light weight poly-stretch for summer, or the popular Ace jean that can look good on anyone. You can also find the slimming OJ legging jeans and the Zoomer high-waisted. If denim isn’t quite your taste then slip into one of the silky tops or dresses for the summer, and a winter collection of leather jackets, suits, sweaters, and knits—U.S. clothing size of 2-12.

Bettina Liano is a brand customers trust for quality and delivers adaptable looks for both day and night. Feminine relaxed ruffles, neutral solid colors, and flattering pocket placements on jeans are just some of the subtle details that create a lingering and understated sexiness. Having Rock 'n' Roll inspirations of Patty Smith, Stevie Nicks, and Debbie Harry, shoppers walk away with classic pieces they can mix with past and new trends to come. With Bettina Liano clothing, it’s not just about being noticed, but wanting to stand out while leaving the best impression behind.
