Lisa Battaglia’s couture hats are popular among society ladies who frequent the annual events at the racetracks on racing days. For the past five years she has created custom derby designs for various events including Saratoga Springs Travers Day, Kentucky Derby and the annual NYRA fashion show at Belmont Racetrack. You will find her hats selling at Saratoga Trunk; in Saratoga Springs; Kentucky Museum of Arts and crafts and the annual trunk show at the luxury Brown Hotel; located in the beautiful Historic Downtown Louisville.

In addition, Lisa currently designs high-end collections for various boutique owners in an effort to create designs unique to their specific needs. Her hats can be found in several New York boutiques including: Charles Nolan in the West Village; Malia Mills; Lord & Tayor and Beau Chapeau in Canada.

Lisa works with various fabrications including vintage trimmings, velour, felt, parisinimay, parisisol straw and panama. Many of Lisa’s designs are inspired by the nineteen-twenties and nineteen-forties though she incorporates a modern asymmetrical look that is all her own.

As seen in Marie Claire, Glamour, W Magazine and the New York Post. Lisa is the first to receive the millinery Hatty Award presented by the annual Hat Life magazine in 2009. Vogue also has commissioned Lisa to showcase a series of hats at the Costume Institute in the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

Please visit Lisa Battaglia’s website for a complete details.
