At A.B. Biagi, owner Antonio Barros Biagi combines traditional low-fat Italian gelato with Brazilian inspiration for a delectable taste and outstanding quality. All gelato is organically crafted with Brazilian sugar and farm fresh milk sourced from a local creamery upstate New York. Handmade in an open kitchen right before your eyes in a traditional vertical batch freezer, customers enjoy five traditional classic flavors that include chocolate and vanilla, as well as a rotating selection of memorable seasonal recipes like Biagi's goat cheese with orange peal & anis, pine nut & basil or cantuccini & port wine. The café sells fresh cookies, Brazilian Arabica coffee & espresso to take away by the cup or whole beans by the bag to brew at home.

Growing up in the countryside of Sao Paulo, Brazil with his Italian family, Biagi was always surrounded by fresh ingredients with a backyard filled with tropical fruit trees, fresh vegetables and milk from his grandmother’s farm. His gelato inspiration came from his aunt, a chocolatier, who made the classic frozen desserts from delicious local ingredients. After training among “gelatieri” masters in Italy and France, Biagi continues to embrace both heritages through the cafe and the family tradition of producing only the best through his craft.

A.B. Biagi offers 11 fresh flavors daily, serving eight different wholesome homemade gelato flavors and three vegan sorbet flavors, available in three sizes by the scoop, in cups or cones as well as pints to take home. Whether you’re sipping on a smooth cup of Biagi's signature coffee or indulging with a sweet treat, you’re sure to have a relaxing time in this warm and unique gelato café.
