There aren't enough sweet and chic coffee cafes in the Times Square area. Bird & Branch is the perfect little pick-me-up coffee and tea spot, after a day of shopping. Their menu offers a selection of filtered coffees, teas, espressos and delicious signature drinks, including small bites to eat. MY FAVOURITE refreshment (served hot or chilled) is 'The Robin' made in house with juiced turmeric and ginger roots and their very own homemade organic macadamia milk (sweetened with fresh dates). Created by a chef in San Francisco, California, who is dedicated to doing something good for the people and the planet. Fine beans are sourced from small coffee farmers. All coffee is direct trade — that means there is no middle man and the farmers make the most of their business. Nurturing their relationships with small farmers by committing to purchase beans year round, Bird & Branch roasts and packages two types of beans: one is brewed in their filtered coffee and the other was created so they could continue to purchase beans from the farmer even if they didn't yield the best crop.
