Perhaps one of the most unique stores in New York, The Meadow has an array of gourmet, culinary goods and services to offer to its West Village neighbors. A beautiful assortment of flowers from the uptown market divides the store down the center, separating over 150 gourmet finishing salts from a fine selection of single origin chocolates. Salmon-hued Himalayan salt blocks rest under the window catching sunlight and attracting the attention of budding chefs and the cooking-inclined. Used for serving and cooking, the blocks season food in an inventive way. An impressive collection of bitters are at the rear of the store and lead themselves to courses The Meadow offers such as the “build your own bitters and cocktail” class. Other services include flower delivery and design, tastings that explore new chocolates and other events that can be custom tailored for private occasions. With so much see, sample and savour, The Meadow is an excellent shop that adds color and flavor to the West Village streets.
