During the four Sundays of September, Myrtle Avenue in Brooklyn and DOT’s Weekend Walks Initiative will be sponsoring events from noon to 6pm for the second annual “Move About Myrtle." All are welcome to join in the line-up of events that will be held in the seven block stretch of the Fort Greene, Clinton Hill, and Bedstuy areas.
Surrounding roads will be closed from traffic and open for pedestrian space during the September events. There will be free yoga and dance classes provided by Move with Grace Studio, cooking activities, raffle prizes, children’s activities, and even a roller rink!
There is something offered for every member of the family, so be sure to drop by and meet other members of the community.
